Baby’s First Year Photography

Baby’s first year photography

When a client contacts me for a sitter session, I have to squeal with delight. Aside from newborns, the first year is my favorite time to photograph little ones. I especially love when the client coming to see me as a sitter, was also a newborn client. The amount of change that takes place during a little one’s first year is unbelievable. From sitting up, to crawling, to standing on their own, and eventually walking; there are so many moments to document. Let’s also not forget those adorable baby smiles.

Ellison first came to my studio as a newborn. She was a perfect model then, and gave me another fabulous session at 10 months. She is probably one of the happiest babies I’ve ever had in my studio, and that smile of hers… it’s contagious! All of my newborn clients are eligible to take part in my first year mini sessions. It’s a great way to document all of the many changes and not have to pay for a full session every time in order to do so.

Just like for a newborn session, I have many different props, outfits  and hair ties all available to use. All you need to do is bring me your beautiful baby!

Here are a few of my favorite images from Ellison’s session.

Enjoy!
